Let us introduce ourselves first…

The management of Magic Resorts, Arie Hoogendoorn & Desiree Pullens welcome you to their home. They opened the first resort of Magic Island in Moalboal, Cebu on January 2, 2005. Over the years, Magic Island became very successful and Arie & Desiree decided to open a second resort. A suitable dive site was carefully sought, land was purchased, construction plans were made and Magic Oceans opened its doors in Anda, Bohol on July 1, 2015.

Magic Island

Concheng is general manager of Magic Island. She is always ready to answer any questions you might have. She is assisted by Mayeth, the receptionist. Breakfast is served at half past seven by our wonderful morning team. However, if you’d like to sleep in or relax, they are always willing to prepare you a late breakfast. The same ladies of the morning team will clean the bungalow every day.
The restaurant provides a perfect lunch and dinner which is prepared by Ruth and Jake.
Our diving team, led by our own PADI Course Director Jamie, take care of the dive center. We have been working for many years with the same captains, boatmen and dive masters. Manuel has been working at Magic Island since the beginning and knows almost everything about the underwater life around Moalboal. If there is anything you would like to know do not hesitate to ask him. Then of course we have the evening team. Would you like a delicious cocktail? Choose from the long list of drinks with or without alcohol. Chino, who runs the bar with Chuna, is a master in mixing cocktails! Our driver Toting will pick you up from the airport and make sure you’re back in time for your return trip. Behind the scenes, the facility team takes care of the resort maintenance and the beautiful gardens are maintained by Mario, who also looks after the pool. Our team is happy to serve you and to make sure that you’re (diving) holiday will be one of a kind!

Magic Oceans

Magic Oceans Dive Resort in Anda, Bohol, is the second resort of Magic Resorts Philippines and is headed by Eef. Together with Arie & Desiree, he has built and developed the company. His team consists of 40 staff members, including Evelyn at the front desk, Peter as the dive center manager and Grace, who’s supporting Peter and doing a great job with marketing and relations. Magic Oceans has three boats run by our experienced Captains Romel, Melchor and Romi, with our Dive Masters Larry, Lee-Ann, Roel and Valiant also in the team. The diving area in Anda offers a lot of diversity and our professional diving team is very knowledgeable on the area. The morning team takes care of breakfast and the house-keeping and the evening team headed by Ruby with our cooks Errol, Darwin and Camilla make the most delicious dishes. Every evening is enjoyable. In good weather, dinner is served on the terrace right on the water. If you fancy another cocktail or drink after dinner at the bar Esther is there to arrange it right away. Delio our driver drives daily to the airport or ferry port to transport our guests to and from the resort. Furthermore, the maintenance staff and gardeners are busy to keep everything in the right order. Despite of the fact that Magic Oceans opened its doors only 3 years ago, our teams work so well together that you’ll think they have been doing this for ages already!
